What You May Be Wondering
Answers to some common questions about our services and process.
Do I need to be in crisis to reach out?
Not at all. People seek therapy and assessment services for many different reasons, including stress, anxiety, relationship concerns, learning or attention difficulties, life transitions, burnout, self-understanding, or simply wanting additional support and clarity. You do not need to wait until things feel unmanageable to reach out.
What if I am not sure whether therapy or an assessment would be more helpful?
You do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out. During the initial contact process, we can help explore your concerns and discuss whether therapy, assessment, or another form of support may be the best fit.
How do I know which clinician is right for me?
We take time to understand what you are looking for, what you need support with, as well as any preferences you may have. Based on this, we will recommend the clinician whose approach, experience, and areas of focus are best suited to your needs.
Do you offer virtual services across Ontario?
Yes. We offer virtual therapy and psychological assessment services to clients across Ontario through secure, encrypted platforms that support privacy and confidentiality. In-person services are also available in Bolton.
Do you provide services covered by extended health benefits?
Many extended health benefit plans provide coverage for services offered by registered psychologists, supervised members, psychological associates and registered psychotherapists. Coverage varies depending on your provider and plan, so we recommend confirming your eligibility directly with your insurance company.
